Hej! This is the 4th infomail this year. In december, Doktorandsektionen had "sektionsmöte" followed by a Christmas party. The party was very nice with great food and drinks. We hope that you will all come to the "sektionsmöte" later this spring. Många doktorander hör av sig till SACO, KTH:s doktorandombud och doktorandsektionen med frågor kring sin anställning och sina rättigheter. Frågorna och svaren är många. - På mötet kommer vi bl.a. ta upp och diskutera: - Vad händer om mina projektpengar tar slut? Kan en doktorand bli uppsagd? - Har man rätt att få förlängning till doktor om man är antagen till licentiat? - Kan man få a-kassa efter doktorandstudier med utbildningsbidrag? - Vad är det för skillnad på att ha en doktorandanställning och att vara t.ex. stipendiat? - Har jag som doktorand någon nytta av att vara med i facket? För att besvara era frågor kommer Rikard Lingström, ordförande i Sveriges Doktorandförening och ansvarig för doktorandfrågor inom SACO vid KTH att medverkat tillsammans med representanter från SACO-föreningen, SULF, Sveriges Ingenjörer och doktorandsektionen. Den nya doktorandstegen ser ut som följer: steg 1 22400 kr, +1200 kr steg 2(30%) 23400 kr, +1400 kr steg 3(50%) 26100 kr, +1200 kr steg 4(80%) 27300 kr, +1400 kr English version -------------------------------------------- * All PhD students at KTH are invited to an information meeting Wednesday March 5 at 16-17.30 in room K1. Do you know your rights? Many PhD students contact SACO, the PhD councellor, and PhD student union (doktorandsektionen) with questions about their employment and rights. There are many questions and anwers. At this meeting we will inform about and discuss, for example: What happens if there is no more project money? Can I loose my employment? Do I have a right to prolongation to doctocal degree if I am admitted to licentiate degree? Can I receive unemployment support if I am on "utbildningsbidrag"? What's the difference between employment and scholarship? How can I benefit from being a member of the union? Rikard Lingström, chair of Sveriges Doktorandförening and responsible for PhD issues in SACO at KTH will anwer your questions together with reprentative of the SACO- commitee, SULF, Sveriges Ingenjörer and doktorandsektionen.
